NEW COURSE: GET THE FEEL!

If you are already playing Brazilian music on any instrument, I can help you get the most Brazilian feel and swing on it. Through exercises on diverse percussion instruments, you will learn how the patterns of distinct instruments interfere with each other, and find your own way of bring this feel to your instrument, for instance the guitar or the piano. You can do this alone or as a band!

Workshop Roda de Samba

For groups, schools, colleges and businesses (5-15 people)

In this workshop, I teach the foundations of the “roda de samba” percussion ensemble from Brazil in an interactive way. Depending on the level of experience and wishes of the group, the workshop can be offered as a 2h crash course – ideal as team-building activity! – or as a multiple-day complementary course for (music-) schools and conservatories.

Are you interested in learning Brazilian percussion? Regardless of your experience level, I can help you navigate the world of drumming and percussion with individual lessons tailored to your needs. You can choose between learning a bit of all, or focussing in only one or a few instruments, such as the pandeiro or atabaque.
